Mithila purohit is an actress and model. She was born and brought up in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Mithila had been an avid movie lover since her childhood, who would not miss her favorite movies on TV. she participated in many acting competitions and skits and plays in her school and college. She always dreamt about having a huge fan following, having lots of people praise her for her work. Mithila comes from a simple family in Bikaner, and in many interviews, she has claimed that her parents always supported her in her quest to become an actress.

She made her debut on the Imagine TV show called ‘Mi Aaji Aur Saheb’. The show is based on the lives of grandparents and their grandchildren living in a society. Her next appearance came in Zee TV’s ‘Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahu’. This is another family show which was based around a well-to-do family living in Jaipur.

Other projects she did are Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke and in 2017 she made her debut in the Punjabi film industry with Vekh Baraatan Challiyan, a super-hit hilarious comedy about a Punjabi conductor who falls in love with a Haryanvi girl. In between her Sapne Suhaan Ladakpan Ke and Vekh Baraatan Challiyan,  Mithila did a Rajasthani movie, a show on Doordarshan called Naina Man Ki Aankhein, and she also did another super hit Panjabi movie named Mr & Mrs 420 Returned and many modeling projects, ramp walks for local and national designers, print shoots and many more. She also won a beauty pageant in Nagpur in 2013.
