Professional known as Brie Larson, she is an American actor, composer, and singer. Larson was born in Sacramento, California before she studied acting at the American Conservatory Theatre.

She started her television acting career and debuted as a character on the Raising Dad sitcom in 2001, for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award.

Larson had brief roles as a teenager in the 2004 movies 13 Going on 30 and Sleepover. Her work in the comedy film Hoot (2006) was lauded, and later she played supporting roles in the movies Greenberg (2010), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), and 21 Jump Street (2012), and Don Jon (2013).

From 2009 to 2011, Larson appeared in the television series United States of Tara as a rebellious teenager.

Her first acting role was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as a sketch star. She made her debut acting film in Special Delivery in 1999, then landed a small role in film 13 Going on 30 in 2004.

She’s got one younger sibling named Milaine. In 2016, she became engaged with Phantom Planet singer Alex Greenwald, but in 2019, they called it quits.

At the age of 8, Larson began her acting career with the talk show ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.’ Larson performed in a parody commercial for ‘Malibu Mudslide Barbie.’

In 2001, Larson played ‘Emily’ in the sitcom ‘Raising Dad’ which was aired on the network ‘The WB.’

The series narrated a widower’s story trying to uplift his two daughters. Larson had one of the daughters playing the part. After 22 episodes the series was canceled.

Larson bagged up a career-defining role in 2015. In the drama movie ‘Room,’ directed by Lenny Abrahamson, she played ‘Joy’. ‘Joy’ was depicted as a woman who was held prisoner for seven years and who lived with her family.

Larson has brilliantly represented the emotional pain of a mother trying to escape with her son. Her stellar performance in the film earned Larson the ‘Academy Award’ for ‘Best Actress.’ She also won the same film’s ‘Golden Globe’ and ‘BAFTA’ awards.
